SWANS CLAIM WIN IN LOCAL DERBY

Real FA Swans continued their good start to the new-year with a convincing win over Kinnegad Juniors this morning. Swans made a number of changes to their starting side and looked well up for the game in the early stages. On the front foot passing and moving it wasn't long before Swans raced into a lead. This was to be a lead that only grew as the half went on. All over the pitch the girls were dominant and the most notable performances in the first half went to Kacey Clynes, Eva Kelleghan and Ciara Mcmanus. The girls went in a half time with a secure lead.

Making four changes at half time we challenged the players going in and the team in general to keep the tempo high. This they surly did. Some fantastic patterns of play resulted in some fantastic goals. The most cheered goal of the day came from a Katelyn Rooney free kick that flew past the keeper. Each and every player in our squad did themselves proud today but player of the game has to go to Jessica Maloney. Her passing, tackling, shooting and overall energy was unbelievable today. Well done Jess keep up the great work.
