Inside View 12

Since our last edition of our Inside View we have being quiet busy with various different aspects of Academy & Club

ACADEMY NEWS

We have recently kicked off a new block of twelve weeks coaching. This is our second block of the season and the first with our new structure. We have two groups working now on a Friday evening and the atmosphere around the academy on our first Friday was fantastic. All the players are continuing to work towards individual goals and improvement within their own game under the guidance of our academy coaches. Our Minis Programme is also going from strength to strength and we currently have two groups on a Saturday evening. In recent weeks it gave us great delight to see some of our minis now have the confidence to enter mainstream football with a number of local clubs. We hope to bring you some photos of these in the coming weeks.

CELTIC FC

Next week we will host our second Halloween Camp and our second time to welcome our international club partners Glasgow Celtic over for the week. On the back of last years successful camp we are now at a sell out again and I'm sure the Celtic coaches that will be visiting for the week will be impressed with the local talent that we have in our area.

REAL FOOTBALL ACADEMY SWANS

On the club side of things our u16s have had a decent start to the season and I'm sure you all have being keeping up to date with the match reports as they happen. The girls are away to Clara Town this coming week. This always proves to be a tough place to go and get a result and Clara have a great reputation in girls football. Lets hope that the weather is kind and the girls get to play this week after not having a game in two weeks.

Our u10s have taken part in their first 5 a side Player Development Blitz since we were last with you. Steve's girls performed very well in two games scoring some great goals and most of all having a fantastic time with plenty of fun. This was a landmark for our club as it was the first Saturday that both our u16 & u10s played on the same day. A family atmosphere being created within our club as we had some of the u10s attend the u16s game in the morning while a few of the u16s  also turned out to support the little ones in the afternoon.

Our u8s continue their weekly development under the watchful eye of Olga, Nicole and a number of the u16s who are progressing nicely towards gaining enough coaching experience for them to feel confident about doing their first coaching badge's next year. Our u8 players are developing very well, with their ball mastery work and having plenty of fun during their sessions.  We hope to be able to organise a blitz with a local club in the coming weeks for the this groups as they are all excited about playing matches.
